Change your Desktop Background

For Windows 10
  1. Right-click anywhere on your open desktop.

  2. Select Personalize from the drop down list.

  3. Scroll down in the window that opens to Choose Your Picture and select one of the pictures shown, or click Browse to find a picture elsewhere.

  4. Below the picture is Choose to Fit which let's you determine how the picture will be displayed. Try different options to get the look you want.

For Windows 7
  1. Right-click anywhere on your open desktop.

  2. Select Personalize from the drop down list. Various desktop backgrounds appear in the window that opens. Select the one you want to use and Click Save Theme.

  3. Near the bottom of this window, you can select the Windows color scheme. Choose the color scheme you want and click Save Changes.

  4. Also near the bottom of this window the Default Sounds for Windows can also be selected. IF you change it click OK to save the changes.

For Windows XP
  1. Right-click anywhere on your open desktop.

  2. Select the Desktop tab in the window that appears, and find the section labeled Background which contains a list of files you can choose to use as your Desktop background.

  3. Click on one and it is shown in the small display in the window.

  4. When you find one you like, click OK to keep as your desktop wallpaper!

    Note: If the image does not cover your entire display and you want it to, go to the Display box and select the Stretch option.
